Hey Mama, it's okay to make yourself a priority!
This blog was initially created to share my healing journey as I found strength and purpose, navigating through anxiety, depression, perfectionism, disordered eating, secondary infertility, and IVF (In Vitro fertilization) and moved closer to my soul-self and intuitive calling. The more I connected to my spirituality and inner-being, the easier it was to bust through blocks and break self-sabotaging behaviors, which were keeping me stuck for so long. I finally healed my relationship with food and my body, feel a sense of peace and happiness I never thought possible, and now find joy in connecting with other Mamas who are making their health and well-being a priority.
I’ve had a passion for fitness and nutrition for as long as I can remember, which originated with the yearning for the “perfect body”, but through the years has evolved into wanting to FEEL good and LIVE more abundantly, which had to start with letting go of the “shit” that was weighing me down. As a former fitness competitor, Figure Pro and Personal Trainer, with a B.S. in Exercise Science, my hobbies, career and mindset have shifted after over-exercising and restrictive dieting for too long, trying to maintain a physique that was not sustainable. I put so much stress on my body, leading to chronic migraines, anxiety, depression, insomnia and infertility. During my infertility journey, I began to dig deeper into who I am at my core, what I truly desire and my purpose here, and that’s where the healing began. Through this journey I have learned that you don’t have to go to extremes to be healthy (body and mind) and I finally feel the best I’ve ever felt, living a balanced lifestyle.
I created the Move-it Mama Tribe – a FREE community for busy Mamas who want to make health and happiness a priority! I understand the stress of having little ones at home, with limited time and added responsibilities, so in my tribe, you’ll receive encouragement, support, love and a wealth of information, including express at-home workouts, fun food finds, healthy recipes and meal prep tips to make it easier for you to reach your health goals!
Fitting in “Mama time” is so important, because a happy and healthy Mom equals happy and healthy kids!
